The Only Watch Index is an independent, lot-by-lot record of the Only Watch charity auctions, compiled from the auction houses' own catalogues and published results. Every lot links to its source, and anything not yet confirmed is marked “to verify”.
What Only Watch is
Only Watch is a biennial charity auction of watches, most of them unique pieces made for the sale, organised by the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies to fund research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It began in Monaco in 2005 and moved to Geneva in 2015. The 2023 sale was postponed and its lots were sold in May 2024; the 2024 sale is the last on record, and the auction has been on hold since November 2024.
This site is not affiliated with Only Watch, the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies or any auction house.
Where the numbers come from
Lots were transcribed from the Antiquorum catalogues (2005, 2007, 2011, 2013), the Phillips catalogue (2015) and Christie's (2017–2024). Where a lot is missing from a house's online listing, its price comes from a published results report and the lot is marked as a press source. Each edition's recorded lot prices are added up and checked against the total announced after the sale; where they differ, the edition page says by how much.

How prices are shown
Hammer prices as published. No buyer's premium is added. Only Watch sales have generally been run without reserve, and the sources for 2017 and 2024 report no buyer's premium; each edition page records what is known for that sale, including where it is not yet confirmed.
Sale currency first. The Monaco sales (2005–2013) were in euros, the Geneva sales in Swiss francs. Every price is shown in its sale currency. To rank lots across the two, EUR figures are also converted to an approximate CHF value at the euro reference rate around the sale date, and always labelled “≈ CHF”.
Against the estimate. “× high estimate” is the hammer price divided by the top of the pre-sale estimate. Above 1× means the lot beat its estimate. The online 2007 catalogue gives no estimates, so those lots have no ratio.
Types are detected. Tags such as “Tourbillon” or “Chronograph” are found in the catalogue text, not assigned by hand, and can miss a lot whose description does not name its complication.
What “to verify” means
A small number of records are incomplete or rest on a single secondary source. They are published rather than hidden, and flagged with a “to verify” marker that says what is open. At the moment:

The 2009 sale (Patrizzi & Co) is known only by its total and top lot so far: no catalogue has been found online.

The editions, lots and brands are available as CSV on the downloads page, under CC BY 4.0: reuse them freely with a link back. The downloads leave out the catalogue descriptions, which belong to the auction houses.
